EUROPEAN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008, AUSTRIA/SWITZERLAND:
Even though the Italian National Football team played the preliminary rounds of the European Championships in Swizerland, they lodged in the beautiful city of Baden, in Lower Austria.
Importantly involved in this decision was Incoming Europe with it's Vienna's branch CE and partner, Mr. Ciro Barnaba, who has very good relations with the Italian Football Federation for years and has because of that had the pleasure of supporting the team's search for the perfect accommodation.
Supported by Incoming Europe and our reliable partners, the government of Lower Austria, the city of Baden and the Lower Austria Regional Tourist Board, the Squadra Azzura decided that they will stay throughout the European Championships at Hotel Schloss Weikersdorf, a distinguished, historical four-star hotel in Renaissance Chateau style.
Various important factors turned the scales in favour for Baden: Firstly, being positive about the outcome of the preliminary rounds in Switzerland, most games of the quarter finals and further on will take place in Vienna. Secondly, the quality of the destination Baden and the hotel itself as well as the vicinity to Vienna's International Airport and the perfect training grounds at the stadium Südstadt.
Happy having host the World Champion Italy in Baden: Former Italy legionnaire Michael Hatz, LR Dr. Petra Bohuslav and Ciro Barnaba, EO Incoming Europe Vienna
